Who is behind Studisim

I am Richard. I live in Vienna and work in IT. Computers have been part of my life since the 90s.

I started Studisim to help students stay in touch with family and friends when their studies take them abroad. A semester abroad, a visit to friends in another country, the trip home: none of this should need a phone contract.

Travel matters to me too. I have often found it hard to find a provider abroad. An eSIM is a way to stay online while you travel, and many people do not know it.

I want my product to be simple: no subscription, no cookie banner, no passwords. You get online fast, nothing more.

I have also always wanted to launch a product of my own. It matters to me that it is practical and just works. I like to listen and I am happy to get feedback. I am glad to improve Studisim as far as I can.

That is why Studisim sells data plans with no contract and no subscription. Anyone can buy them. Students get a discount with their university email address. You buy what you need, and the eSIM comes by email.
